Biological Heart Valves
Biological heart valves are valves obtained from bovine pericardium. There are two types: aortic and mitral. They are frequently preferred in heart valve diseases. These valves are used to ensure the proper flow of blood within the heart and to the body in cases where the heart valves do not function properly.
